Florida's one of those destinations people book way in advance because they like to plan it and have longer to pay for it. In our case we did this and booked as a family of 5 and was blessed with our last baby completing our family 6 weeks before we flew.ย As much as people thought we were crazy itโs all about the magic of Disney what ever the age. Rocco wonโt remember it but as a parent seeing him smile and coo at Mickey Mouse is a moment Iโll never forget. The older kids loved the characters and the parades but the rollercoasters and fireworks well and truly made the holiday for them. If youโre sitting there thinking I couldnโt think of anything worse donโt be fooled. With Disney cruise lines on offer, Miami beaches and even being able to combine a few nights in the Bahamas within your stay when flying to Florida, there is something for everyone!

My biggest tip for Lapland, go when your kids are starting to stop believing in the magic of Santa.
1.) You canโt compete anywhere in the UK with what you experience here.
2.) Youโll at least get that last year of believing & if that is there last year of believing it will be the most xmassy youโve experienced.
With a baby and a 2 year old too young to travel to Lapland, but two older ones doubting Santa we made the decision to go and do it in a day. We saw the main man himself, went on husky and reindeer rides, tobogganing, sledging, drank hot berry juice, decorated cookies with Mrs Claus, saw the ice sculptures and even got a glimpse of the northern lights on the flight home. Whether you go in a day or for longer Lapland will make your Christmas all that more special.

Itโs really not like us to have a holiday booked earlier, but with work commitments, stags dos, proms and a wedding (not ours) in our diary this year weโll be flying out to the island of Kos this October and I canโt wait. Greece I love as a whole, the people are so welcoming and friendly and if youโve never experienced the food then youโre missing out. A Greek gyro is a firm fave of mine. We plan to explore the island including Kos old town, take a boat trip to Turkey and thoroughly enjoy our hotel facilities at a firm family favourite.
Where have you been that you've loved - and where is on your Travel wish list? We'd love to hear about them in the comments.
