Welcome to our brand new website, which we, at All About Travel are very excited to share with you.

I wanted to start off the first blog with who we are and how All About Travel began…

I have been a travel agent since 1996, after studying leisure and tourism at college for 2 years previously. I worked in both independent & multiple agencies on the High Street, and over 10 years had worked my way up to being a town manager in Leamington Spa, with 2 shops and a foreign exchange bureau that I managed.

It was then I found myself expecting my first baby, and when due to return from maternity leave I decided I couldn’t leave her for full time work and commit to weekends. Given the

timing I decided to become a Personal Travel Agent working from home, which would fit in perfectly with family life & let me combine being a Mummy with my passion for selling holidays!

That was early 2006, and year by year my business grew with the loyalty of existing customers and the recommendations to new clients, along with the growth of social media. Working this way allowed me to be available at a time to suit customers needs and for them to not feel rushed into making quick decisions.

It also meant I could be a Mummy and 2 other babies quickly followed.

The business grew rapidly once my babies were all at school and in 2015 Cindy joined me. Cindy came with over 25 years experience in a shop and having worked with her previously I knew it would be a great move. This proved a great success and over the next 2 years, Rachel. Amy & Jodie had joined the team, again all bringing a wealth of experience with them.

By 2017 we had outgrown the previous model and it was time to take the next step, get my own ABTA number and All About Travel was born. I wanted to use all my experience, contacts and passion to create a new brand. A brand that offered a personal tailored approach, where we can make recommendations on our own travels and experiences.

The fact we are an independent agency means we have access to more suppliers, destinations and products, we can sell what we truly believe is the best holiday to suit your needs. We aim to provide the perfect holiday for you at the best price possible, whether that be a fun filled family holiday, a round the world cruise or a tailor made itinerary. We are both ABTA & ATOL bonded, and as part of the Mid Counties Travel Consortium so you know your money is all financially protected.

Since All About Travel was launched we have continued to grow and now have 13 travel advisors all over the UK, all with years of experience (over 100 years combined) and all well travelled themselves, between us we really do have the world covered. We are all based at home, so can work at a time to suit you, and can communicate by phone, email, zoom or can even arrange home visits. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and aim to provide the best service possible. We are not just a click on a keyboard, we are real people at the end of the phone available to answer questions and provide advice, which, now more then ever, is so important. We understand how much your holiday means to you and are with you from the very beginning until your return.

As a write this, at the end of December 2020, I cannot believe the last 18 months we have had. The collapse of Thomas Cook, sand storms, bush fires, airline strikes and then Covid, it has tested us all in more ways than I thought possible. The constant changing of advice this year, the lockdowns, the restrictions, has all made it nearly impossible to carry on selling holidays, but I am pleased to say we have made it! In fact we have gone from strength to strength, gaining new clients on recommendation of how we have handled the crisis, we haven’t closed and been available to contact throughout which has meant we have a brand you can rely on and trust.

I would like to personally thank every customer old and new for your support and loyalty over the years, and for those who haven’t used us before, I really hope you give us a try for your next trip!
